Northstar Transport and Logistics, Inc. is excited to announce the recent acquisition of Yarmouth Lumber LLC located in Gray, Maine.

Yarmouth Lumber was originally founded in 1951 as a small sawmill by the late Orrin Phipps and eventually moved into the transportation market. Over the next 70+ years the business went through many changes, and different locations, ending up in Gray, Maine and operated by Orrin's son, Bill, up until 2024.

We intend to build and carry on their legacy for years to come.

This acquisition has allowed us to add multiple tractor trailer assets, a terminal including an office, repair shop, and a large drop yard which allows us expansion into the Southern/Western Maine market and beyond.

We are looking forward to growing and adding to our 30 tractors, 100 trailers, arsenal of dedicated owner operators, and excellent customer base.

Currently we serve the flatbed and dry van markets throughout New England, the Mid Atlantic, and the Mid West and we are always looking for new opportunities!
