Banner day for Climate Infrastructure investments in Bronzeville announced today at City of Chicago’s Winter 2024 Economic Development Grants. With today’s announcement, the City has made a significant investment in renewable energy upgrades to our new headquarters at 2416 Michigan by supporting our comprehensive Goal to Net Zero project that includes installation of onsite renewable energy, upgraded HVAC with electric heat pumps for heating, cooling, and hot water, and a variety of other energy conservation measures. This comes on the heels of our Round One award of City funding for the installation of DC Fast Charging and the purchase of an EV shuttle bus. Big Congrats to Innovation Metropolis Smart Tech District ED, Sherelle Withers.
