Welcome back students,
we/I missed you and to new students: welcome to Chico & WELCOME To G-Ride Pedi-Cab & Trolley .
I'm sure by now if you dont know me, YOU WILL!!!
I'm a Chico Icon, & a Local Living Legend!
:-)
These are some of my G-Ride tips for new students and reminders for returning students:
~If your drinking especially at parties, watch your drink from when opened or poured until you finish it (So nobody slips something in it).
~Even if you are at a crosswalk and have the right away look to see if the vehicles are stopped or especially if crossing a main street or backstreet, look to see if there are vehicles coming.
~Don't drink and drive! Buzzed driving IS DRUNK DRIVING!
~If you see a train coming in the distance (especially if you've been drinking,), just wait for it to pass before crossing. It can come up on you faster than you think.
~Vehicles: give bicyclists 3 feet (at least) space at all times when near them(Its also the law).
~Bicyclists: make sure you have front and back lights at night (+ reflectors is great)
Also bicyclists, look behind you before you turn and use your hand signals.
~Also try to wear light colors when riding and boarding.
~NO CAN BE A COMPLETE SENTENCE! If a male OR female says NO, That means NO!
~Ladies don't walk alone! Always walk in pairs! If you end up alone just call me (530)354-9885 and if I am out I will give you a ride weather you have money or not! If I am not available, I will try to find you a ride share that I trust. If by campus and feel threatened, look for the blue lights and use those phones.
~Those of you students that feel you have a drug or alcohol problem,
( I am a recovering addict) check out CADEC (Campus Alcohol & Drug Education Center). I think the name changed but there is help there.
Great services.
~PARTY RESPONSIBLY!
~
~This is a great place to live and we don't want any more tragedies!
