Job Description
Function:
The Customer Service Representative performs office duties of answering all incoming service telephone calls.

Responsibilities:
• Promptly answers incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
• Coordinates simultaneously mental, manual, and visual activities when talking on the telephone and using the computer.
• Promptly contacts Dispatchers to coordinate transportation service.
• Conducts self in accordance with HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
• Handles and promptly resolves client complaints.
• Other office duties as assigned.

On Wednesday, Hamilton County Commissioners will decide the future of the senior services tax levy. The levy is generating $2 million less than it was 10 years ago, and is significantly underfunded to meet the growing community need. The levy funds more than 90% of the Hamilton County Elderly Services Program (ESP) which helps more than 5,700 seniors live independently in their own homes, instead of nursing homes. Without an increase in funding, the program will not be able to meet the community need and seniors will face long waits for essential services such as personal care and medical transportation.
