This is a 1099 position and we are looking to hire a motivated person to drive all over the state.

*** You will be traveling to new locations every day you work throughout the state.

--You will use your own vehicle for transporting good to various locations. A larger vehicle is preferred but not required.

-Must be RELIABLE - these are jobs that are required to be complete within the same day.

-Must have your own insured vehicle (bodily injury liability limits @ 100/300k)

-Have active EIN registered with the State of Colorado.

We are looking for an assistant/dispatcher to join our team, hopefully long term! We are a local BUSY courier business that operates 24/7 and our office is staffed 365 days per year. We offer flexible work schedules, unique industry knowledge and affordable health insurance! (BCBS)

We are looking for someone that can work Monday and Tuesday form 11 pm to 8 am, then Fridays from 3 pm to 11pm, there are always opportunities to pick up extra shifts if someone is out sick or on vacation.


We are looking for a reliable dispatcher/office assistant with great computer skills.
You will receive requests, transmit messages and track drivers.
The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations.
You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

*Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
*Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
*Receive and dispatch orders for deliveries and routes
*Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
*Use phone or computer to send jobs to the appropriate drivers
*Monitor the route and status of drivers to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
*Provide drivers with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
*Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information as needed
*Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs (not very often) also must be able to climb ladder stairs.

-Fast typing with experience in data entry
-Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
-Active listener with excellent communication skills
