From the Taxi to the Pulpit—All for His Glory! 🙌✝️

10/29/2026

It’s an honor and a privilege to serve God! Tonight marks my first official preaching opportunity since starting TaxiCab Preacher, sharing His Word with students from 5 different high schools in Downers Grove. I’m humbled and thankful for this open door.

When God paves the way, all you’ve got to do is ride along. All glory to Him! 🙏

If you love, Jesus, and you own a business understand this: Not every customer is your customer, and that’s okay. You can treat everyone with kindness while accepting that you won’t be the right fit for everyone.

Keep serving with love, stay true to who you are, and trust God to bring the right people your way. ❤️

Check out this travel agency.. Thy Best in NWI

You see what we sell: cruises, tours, all-inclusives. 🌍
Here's what we actually DO. 👇
🗣️ We listen first. How you like to travel, who's coming, your budget, and what would ruin the trip for you.
🔎 We check what you don't see. Current reviews from trusted sources, including the thousands of travel advisors in our network.
⭐ We know people. We have direct brand and property contacts, so they know you're our client and make sure your stay is special.
🤝 We bring in local experts. Some of our partners are based right in the destination. That's two layers of expertise on your trip.
🍝 We chase the extras. Dinner reservations, spa time. (Some places only book once you arrive, and we'll tell you that up front.)
📞 We're your person. If plans change, you have someone who already knows your trip.
That's what you get when you book with us. 💙
You dream it. We refine it. ✨

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Mr. Clifton Gooden—a man whose faith was reflected in his service, his dedication to education, and his love for his family and community.

As a teacher, leader, and deacon, he spent his life helping others grow. His example reminds us that our greatest legacy is found in the people we encourage, the lives we touch, and the love we give.

His nearly 58 years of marriage to Charlotte also leave a beautiful testimony of love and commitment through life’s many seasons.

To Charlotte and the entire Gooden family, my heartfelt condolences and prayers are with you. May Jesus comfort your hearts and give you strength in the days ahead.

Mr. Gooden’s earthly journey has ended, but the good he poured into others continues to bear fruit. May we honor his memory by living faithfully, loving deeply, and serving others.

Today, I had to call 911 and request an ambulance for a customer who needed more help than I could provide.

It’s a hard feeling when you want to help someone but realize their needs are beyond your ability. In that moment, the best way I could care for them was to call for the right help.

When I say our customers become family, I mean that. I care about the person in that seat, and today my heart is with them.

Please join me in praying for this customer. I’m keeping their details private, but God knows exactly who they are and what they need. Thank you to the emergency responders who answer these calls. 🙏🏼

🚕 For the first time, I get to say this: TaxiCab Preacher is FULLY BOOKED for today! 🙌🏼

This is a big milestone for our family business, and I’m thanking God for it. Every booking, referral, shared post, and word of encouragement has helped us get here.

To our customers: thank you for trusting us with your rides.
To our drivers: thank you for your hard work and for caring for the people we serve. ❤️ Seth David Weigand and Melissa Deyarmin

We can’t accept any more rides today, so please book ahead for your upcoming trips!
