Getting ready for a gravel delivery? 🪨 A little prep makes the whole job go smoother.

✅ Clear the drop area, move cars, trailers, and anything fragile
✅ Mark the exact spot you want it dumped (a spray-paint X works great)
✅ Make sure there's enough overhead clearance for the truck to raise the bed
✅ Be there if you can, so the driver can confirm placement
✅ Have a plan to spread it within a day or two so it doesn't sit

"How fast can you get it here?" A question we hear all the time, especially when a project is on a tight timeline.

Here's how it usually works:
📞 Call with your material, quantity, and delivery address
📅 Most local deliveries can be scheduled within 1 to 2 business days
🚚 Larger or specialty orders may take a bit longer.

We'll always give you a clear ETA. ✅

Crusher run or 57 gravel? One of the most asked questions at the yard. Here's the difference.

🪨 Crusher Run (610 Limestone Base): A mix of fine particles up to 1½" rock. Compacts tight. Ideal for driveways, road base, and anywhere you need a hard, stable surface.

🪨 57 Gravel: Clean, uniform rock (about ½" to 1"). Doesn't compact. Drains well. Perfect for drainage, French drains, and decorative landscaping.

Quick rule: if you need a hard surface, use crusher run. If you need water to move through, use 57. ✅

One of the most common questions we get at the yard is, "How much gravel do I actually need?"

The answer depends on three things:
📏 Length and width of the area
📐 Depth (we usually recommend 2 to 3 inches for driveways and landscaping)
🪨 The type of material

A good rule of thumb: 1 ton of gravel covers about 80 to 100 square feet at 2 inches deep.

Here are a few you might not know about:
🪨Pea Gravel: Smaller rock consisting of 1/4 to 3/8 inch in size. Works well for landscaping, walkways, and decorative use.

🪨Mason Sand: Used for brick laying with a yellowish white tint. A go-to for masonry contractors.

🪨Rip Rap: Available in sizes ranging from 4 inch to 12 inch rock. Used for erosion control and managing wash outs.
