We get it — there are a lot of rideshare apps out there. And apparently, some of you have been downloading the wrong one and wondering why your driver doesn't show up in Denver.

So let us make this painfully clear:

Your $30 ride. Here's where it went.

The driver — the person who showed up, drove through traffic, got you there safely — made $11.

The company — the app on your phone — made $16.

No one's saying the app shouldn't make money. But more than the driver? For a ride the driver did 100% of the work on?

On COOP, the driver keeps 80%. The co-op takes 20% to keep the lights on. That same $30 ride? The driver takes home $24.

Not because we're generous. Because the drivers own the company. There are no investors expecting a return. No executives collecting bonuses. Just drivers and the people who ride with them.

Next time you open a rideshare app, ask yourself who's earning your fare.
