Fruehauf Trailer Historical Society The Fruehauf Trailer company revolutionized the transportation industry by inventing the semi-trailer , the automatic 5th wheel hitch and container shipping.

Fruehauf was the most dominant manufacturer of truck semi-trailers for nearly a century. Launched as a carriage builder in 1912, Fruehauf Trailers acquired world-wide stature for high-quality German craftsmanship and excellent design. By 1950's the company was on the list of the top grossing U.S. companies, becoming an industry leader with eight U.S. plants, one Canadian factory, ands 85 branch offices with 8,300 employees.

Join us Friday, July 14th at 7:00 PM at the Jamboree Concert Stage to sing along with the Grammy® award winning hits such as "Two Dozen Roses", "Church on Cumberland Road" and "Next to You, Next to Me". We're thrilled to be included on the band's 50+ City Revival Tour and look forward to celebrating America's Truckers and the work they do each day to keep this country rolling.

Sadly lost another old school trucker friend. He was a wealth of trucking history. He loved trucks and trucking ever since his youth in Illinois

My heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends

Donald Joseph Querciagrossa, 78, lost his 3 year battle with cancer on December 21, 2022 at Mercy Hospital, OKC with family at his side. He bravely endured the pain, multiple tests and treatments saying, “whatever it takes!”
