Last week, James Group welcomed 34 future leaders to celebrate National Take Your Kid to Work Day — and they arrived ready to work, badges and safety vests included.

The day was full: a welcome breakfast, facility tours, RGL bingo, and an up-close look at one of our FCT trucks (the horn was, naturally, a crowd favorite). But what made the day especially meaningful was what happened on the floor.

We asked our young guests to help us give back — assembling care packages for pets in need in partnership with the Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control. The entire James Group family, across all locations, donated every supply needed to make it happen.

The day wrapped with a special appearance by Lorron and Mr. James, who personally presented each future leader with a commemorative certificate.

To every kid who joined us last Thursday — thank you for bringing your energy, your curiosity, and your heart. We hope to see you back someday as a full-time member of the family. 👷

What an incredible day! 🎉

On Saturday, July 26, our James Group family came together for our Annual Family Day, and it was absolutely amazing to see 400+ employees, family members, and friends celebrating together.

The highlight of the day? Our charity dunk tank raised $1500 for Breast Cancer Awareness! A huge thank you to the Detroit Fire Department for helping us fill the tank and to everyone who took their shot at dunking our brave volunteers. 💙

From the DJ keeping the energy high to fresh specialty pizza baked on-site, caricature artists capturing smiles, yard games bringing out everyone's competitive spirit, and the photo booth creating lasting memories—every moment was filled with laughter and connection.

Events like these remind us why we call ourselves a family. When we come together, support great causes, and celebrate each other, we're building something special that goes far beyond business.
