Delaware Motor Transport Association (DMTA) was founded in 1939 to advance the interests of the trucking industry in Delaware. We are an organization that helps our members by keeping them informed through accurate and reliable information, and giving them a voice on matters affecting highway transportation. DMTA encourages and promotes safety on the highways, fosters a positive attitude on the pa

rt of the public toward the trucking industry, and much more. In addition to advocating for the trucking industry, DMTA sponsors special events such such as the State Truck Driving Championships, State SUPERTECH Competition, and Driver of the Month/Year Program. Members receive timely updates and important information to assist them with daily operations, and we have staff who can assist with compliance and enforcement questions.
