National Safety Month: Stay Safe on the Road
Every time we get behind the wheel, we make choices that affect not only ourselves, but everyone sharing the road with us. During National Safety Month, take a moment to focus on habits that help everyone get home safely.
🚗 Buckle Up Every Trip
Seat belts remain one of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent serious injuries.
📱 Put the Phone Away
A text, call, or notification can wait. Distracted driving only takes a second to change a life.
🚦 Slow Down and Stay Alert
Obey speed limits, watch for changing road conditions, and leave plenty of space between vehicles.
😴 Drive Rested
Fatigue can be just as dangerous as impairment. If you're tired, take a break before continuing your trip.
🌧️ Adjust for Conditions
Rain, construction zones, heavy traffic, and poor visibility all require extra caution and patience.
🚛 Share the Road Respectfully
Give large trucks, motorcycles, bicyclists, and pedestrians the space they need. Everyone deserves to arrive safely.
At the end of every workday, game, errand, or road trip, someone is waiting for us at home. Safe driving isn't just about protecting ourselves, it's about protecting the families and loved ones who count on us to make it back safely. This National Safety Month, let's commit to making every mile a safe one.
