📣🚛 BREAKING NEWS FROM PD&S DISPATCH:

Starting today, all dispatchers will now be required to run alongside the truck for the first 30 seconds of every load… “for morale.”

New dispatch procedures include:
🤸‍♂️ Mandatory pre‑load stretching
👍 A synchronized “you got this!” chant
📲 Logging all sprint times in Samsara under “Cardio Notes”
🏃‍♂️ Wearing high‑visibility headbands at all times

Drivers have been instructed to rate dispatcher form, speed, and enthusiasm on a 1–10 scale. Scores under 7 require additional laps around the warehouse.

Early testing shows dispatchers can reach speeds up to 12 mph when a driver says, “Hey, quick question…”

🐦🤣 Yesterday one of our drivers slowed down for a little bird who apparently forgot it had wings and tried to cross the road like a tiny pedestrian.

And with that beautiful sunrise behind it, the bird was fully committed to its main‑character moment…

…until the truck got close and it suddenly remembered, “Oh wait, I can fly,” and took off.

Protected the freight, protected the bird — that’s how we do it. 🚛💙

📚 Training Tuesday Spotlight 🚛

Today we’re talking about the tiny habit that saves big headaches:
Pre‑Trips & Post‑Trips

Because nothing says “I love my job” like catching a problem before it becomes a roadside episode of “Why Is This Happening To Me?”

🔹 Pre‑Trip: Your first line of defense. It’s like checking your kid’s backpack before school — you don’t want to find a disaster, but you’re glad you looked.

🔹 Post‑Trip: The daily debrief. This is where you tell our full‑service lease partners, “Hey, this thing made a weird noise today, and I’d prefer not to find out what it means at 3 AM tomorrow.”

And yes… even leadership does them. Our Operations Manager does full pre‑ and post‑trips every time he pulls the Castle Band trailer. (Check out the pre-trip photos of the Castle Bands Pit crew hard at work).

Why it matters:
