Imagine parking your truck overnight and waking up to find your aluminum ramps, tarps, chains, or binders GONE.

And here’s what experienced truckers know:

🔴 EVEN LOCKED EQUIPMENT CAN BE STOLEN.

Thieves can cut chains, break padlocks, and steal thousands of dollars worth of open-deck equipment while you’re sleeping.

HOW TO PROTECT YOUR EQUIPMENT:

✅ Choose well-lit, monitored, or gated truck parking whenever possible.

✅ Secure aluminum ramps in locking racks or approved storage. When suitable, properly secure and cover them on the upper deck to keep them less visible.

✅ Keep expensive flatbed tarps rolled, restrained, and stored securely.

✅ Consider motion-activated security lights or tamper alarms for extra protection.

✅ Don’t rely on padlocks alone. Use multiple layers of security.

✅ Take photos of your equipment before parking and inspect everything before departure.
