Our last day of seeing the sights 😁. We spent some time at the Edwardsville, Illinois Route 66 festival, car show, music, food and time with friends. A quick stop at the largest Catsup bottle in Collinsville. A drive thru Casey in the way home to see some oversized items.

Another day of touring, today in Pulaski County USA, Tourism Bureau & Visitors Center. Free time for lunch, the museum and the stagecoach museum in Waynesville, MO. A tour of Devil's elbow, Uranus Fudge shop, dinner at Route 66 diner and the Neon sign park. Whew, we really packed it in today!

Today, we visited Joplin, MO, a great tour of the town, Great Falls, Gearheads Curio, Street aerllry, an old gas station turned gift shop, Baxter Museum with lunch, Dairy King for a sweet treat, on the original Route, Mickey Mantles home, dinner, tour and entertainment at the Coleman Theater in Miami, Ok (pronounced Miama). Let's not forget the thunderstorm on the way to the hotel and a power outage for most of the night!

What a whirlwind of a week exploring the 100th anniversary of the "Mother Road", Route 66! We started in Cuba MO at the Historic Museum and beautiful murals throughout the town on the original Route 66. A fabulous lunch was in Rolla at Hopper's Restaurant, a tour of Springfield and dinner at cars on the Route - what a day!

More mystery! Day 3, the amazing home of Miss Aretha Franklin, can you believe it!!! It is located on the golf course. Next, the Esther Gordy Edwards Center for a look at the psychedelic Soul Museum and a "lesson" on Motown and a stop at Hitsville. It was closed , we did get to take photos. This afternoon, a tour of a recording studio and dinner at the famous "Bert's Marketplace" and stories from Miller London" the first African -American sales executive for Motown Records. Day 4: A drive thru downtown Detroit and a stop at Belle Isle, the aquarium and the Arboretum before Detroit style pizza for lunch at the original Buddy's Pizza - it was awesome 😎😎. Another mystery wrap up! I forgot Bethel Baptist Church, where Aretha went to church

What a great 4 days in our Spring Mystery to ....... Detroit and experiencing Motown! We started out at the Art Deco Fisher Building and a tour of the theater. Day 2: a stop at Sanders ice cream and chocolates to see how Carmels are made and Stahls Motor and Music experience. That afternoon, Packard Proving Grounds with a ride in a couple of antique cars and dinner at Aspen restaurant, FABULOUS!

Our first tour to Lancaster, PA to see the new show 'JOSHUA" at the Sight and Sounds Theater, a spectacular show! Dinner was at Casey Jones Restaurant, in a train car and a fabulous show Paradise Barn. 2nd day took us to Krieder Farms to see their milking carousel and Steltzers Smokehouse, along with samples, very interesting process. A quick stop a Kitchen Kettle for some retail therapy and a rainy ride home. We still have a few seats available in September, for the same tour. 740-694-1673
