Riding GTrans is now even easier!

Regular fare customers on GTrans can now pay fare simply by tapping a credit or debit card — physical or digital — at TAP validators on buses.

What to Know:

• TAP cards and cash remain accepted on all GTrans buses.
• Reduced-fare riders must continue using TAP cards until contactless reduced-fare payments launch (anticipated early 2027).
• Use the same card or device throughout your trip to receive eligible TAP transfer benefits.
• One customer can pay for up to five riders by tapping once for each rider, including themselves.
• GTrans does not participate in fare capping.

The Countdown to Kick-Off is On! 📍⚽

We are thrilled to be part of the Los Angeles World Cup Games Enhanced Service!

As part of the GETS network, GTrans is partnering with L.A. Metro and various regional transit agencies to provide transportation services to Los Angeles (Sofi) Stadium for all eight World Cup matches.

📍 Departure Location:
Harbor Gateway Transit Center

🕒 Match Day Service Details:

Pre-Match: Service kicks off approximately 3 hours before the game begins.

Post-Match: Return buses run for up to 90 minutes after the final whistle.

Fare: Just $1.75 per person, each way!

Look for World Cup decals on buses to easily identify service.
