Help Wanted:
Mechanic/Diesel Tech Needed
KCK location-Nights
Gardner location-Days and/or Nights Needed

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years diesel engine repair. Be able to perform DOT require maintenance and repairs. 3-5 years’ experience in servicing and repairing heavy trucks, preferably dump trucks.
Experience working on Cummins and Paccar engines
Be willing and able to work evening shifts. Start times 4PM and later (Night Mechanic Only)
Be willing and able to work some weekends
Be willing and able willing to work some overtime during peak season
Be willing and able to work on several makes and models of equipment (currently Kenworth’s, Peterbilt’s, and Freightliner’s.
Must have own tools

Other experiences not required but helpful:
Have some welding/fabricating experience, Mount/dismount tires, A/C repair, Inner engine experience, specifically in-frames, Hydraulic repairs (hoists, trailing axles).
Have CDL for service call, road tests.
Be able to use software programs such as Davies systems, Diesel Laptops, JPro and other software solutions.

We lost one of the good ones last week. Richard Foster one of our long time drivers, passed away last Wednesday Dec. 21st. A celebration of life will take place on Friday December 30th at Austin's in Gardner 4-7pm. Feel free to share this post.
