From career change to aircraft technician.... meet Allison Dziak, our featured star! ✈️ 🌟

Just a few years ago, Allison was working in executive administration support and volunteering at the Illinois Aviation Museum. She got involved with CABAA, serving as the organization's membership coordinator, and met countless Chicagoland aviation professionals, whose guidance and connections were priceless to her journey.

Allison was awarded a CABAA financial scholarship and, most recently, her maintenance initial training course, provided by CAE Pilot. Today, she is working professionally as an A&P Aircraft Technician with Gary Jet Center, supporting The Boeing Company's Executive Flight Operations!

Allison says, "As an adult making a complete career change into the aviation industry, CABAA played a major role in helping me build connections and understand the opportunities that were available. I love learning something new everyday and continuing to develop my technical skills."

Allison's journey into business aviation is a great example of how community, connections, and continued learning can truly open doors for the next generation of business aviation professionals.

A Lasting Impact

As Gary Jet Center celebrates its 35th anniversary, we proudly recognize the 20% of our team who have been with us for more than 20 years, representing over 250 years of dedication, experience, and service!

They helped build our foundation and, alongside the new faces and fresh ideas joining our team, continue to shape our future.

This weekend, our team came together to celebrate Gary Jet Center’s 35th anniversary with a special evening filled with merriment, dinner, speeches, laughter and plenty of friendly competition at the casino tables.

It was a wonderful evening recognizing more than three and a half decades of hard work, growth and the people who have been part of the journey along the way.

Here’s to 35 years and many more to come! 🥂

We were honored to attend the recent dedication and witness this important project come to life. We are especially proud to sponsor the Gary Jet Center Community Room, a space where people can gather, connect and grow together.

We look forward to the positive impact the new Gary YMCA will have on the City of Gary for years to come.

The Ford Trimotor, Transcontinental Air Transport, Inc. known as the "Tin Goose" landed at Gary Jet Center for fuel over the weekend. This iconic aircraft helped shape the early days of commercial aviation.
