🎃👻 Halloween Costume & Car Seat Safety Tip! 🚗🧡
Halloween costumes are fun, but safety always comes first! Before heading out for trick-or-treating, remember:
🧡 Check the fit! Bulky costumes, puffy jackets, and thick layers can interfere with a properly fitted car seat harness.
🎃 Buckle up first! Remove bulky costume layers before securing your child in their car seat. Once buckled snugly, place a blanket or coat over the harness to keep them warm.
👻 Keep it safe! Masks, hats, and accessories should not block your child's vision or interfere with the seat belt or harness.
From all of us at DTS, we wish you a fun, safe, and spooktacular Halloween! 🦇🍬
It's Halloween week! 🎃 Parents, remind yourselves that some costumes — similar to puffy coats — have excess material and can prevent a car seat from keeping your child SAFE in a crash.
Don't risk it — change them into their costumes at your destination. 🦄✔️
