In a serious or life-threatening emergency, no one can afford to take any chances or waste any time.

The situation calls for experienced professionals who must respond immediately. At Life EMS Ambulance, our highly-trained medical teams use state-of-the-art communications with back-up systems, the latest, life-saving pre-hospital care equipment, and fully-staffed ambulances that are mobile emergency rooms. Since our inception in 1980, Life EMS has consistently reduced response time while providing compassionate, emergency care throughout west Michigan. Over 650 associates, deployed to serve an area of over 4,500 square miles of West Michigan including Greater Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Ottawa, Ionia, as well as Mason, Newaygo, Lake and Oceana Counties along with portions of Allegan and Van Buren Counties comprise the life-saving team of Life EMS.

Happy National First Responder Day! This is a day dedicated to honoring ALL of you who are committed to serve others with Skill and Compassion, including paramedics, emergency medical technicians, dispatch personnel, police officers, firefighters, and ALL of those who support these activities. Observed on October 28th each year, this day acknowledges the skill and compassion you provide to patients/families in the communities we serve.

Thank you to ALL Life EMS associates and the entire first responder community for your courage, selflessness and dedication to helping others in the same way we would want our families to be taken care of. Thank you All!

This week we held our annual Trunk or Treat, and the weather did not disappoint. Great costumes, great trunk decorations, and great food (The Mad Dogz hot dogs of course) with over 500 hot dogs served. Thank you to everyone that came out and to those of you who took your time to decorate a trunk and pass out candy. Also, a big shout out to our community partners that participated. We can’t believe this was already our 5th year, and we look forward to many more!
