Gunther Charters was founded in 1989 by Martin and Laurie Gunther. They started with five motor coaches and built their business on a foundation of customer service and reliable transportation. In 1985, Edward Royston established Hunt Valley Motor Coach with two motor coaches. Today, the company operates eleven motor coaches. It has grown because it provides quality service and always lives up to its motto; “We make getting there half the fun!” Hunt Valley Motor Coach has become one of the most recognized names in the industry and strives to provide clients with first-class motor coach transportation service. In January 2012, these two family operated companies united to create a powerful transportation team. Taking the best of both operations, Gunther Charters and Hunt Valley Motor Coach has become an industry leader. As the company continues to grow, we remain committed to providing the same quality customer service and excellence in transportation. We are proud to operate an ultra-modern fleet of motor coaches equipped with amenities for our client’s enjoyment. Our professional motor coach operators are well trained and make safety their first priority. All of our individual tours are fully escorted by one of our professional tour directors to ensure the success of every tour. Groups can charter our motor coaches for any type of excursion, whether it is a local day trip or a multi-day tour across country. Our company is fully licensed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and maintains the mandated $5,000,000.00 liability insurance required by law. We are a Department of Defense (DoD) and a Transportation Safety Exchange (TSX) approved carrier. We are fully committed to the safety and comfort our clients.
