Happy Friday!

Spent part of today sitting on a mountain of dirt after doing inspections and taking pictures on one of our jobsites. And honestly, I'll take that view over staring out an office window any day.

Before anyone asks... yes, that is hydroseed all over my boots. I don't always just sit on jobsites looking important and taking pictures... sometimes they make me help.

I've spent a lot of time this week out checking on jobs, and one thing that always stands out is just how hard our crew's work. Especially this week. The heat has been absolutely brutal, but these guys keep showing up, climbing in the equipment, and getting the job done.

Meanwhile, I'm over here enjoying my dirt pile views, snapping photos, filling out inspection reports, and trying not to get run over by equipment.

I'm thankful for the crew, thankful for dirt pile office views, and definitely thankful it's finally Friday.

So, here's to Friday, cold drinks, air conditioning, and not having to set an alarm tomorrow morning.

Just because you own it doesn't mean you have a way to move it.

From heavy equipment to oversized machinery, sometimes the hardest part of the job is getting it from Point A to Point B. That's where we come in.

This Telestack made the trip just fine, and we've hauled plenty of other equipment that's a little too big for a gooseneck and a prayer.

If you've noticed I've been a little quiet on here lately, it's because somebody decided I needed another job of doing inspection reports!

The good news is I get to spend more time on the jobsites. And I know the guys absolutely love having me show up on site snapping pictures while they're trying to work... but I usually bring donuts, so it all balances out in the end.

One thing I've learned is that no matter how old you get, it never really gets old playing in the dirt. The toys just get a whole lot bigger and a whole lot more expensive.

It's pretty impressive seeing these guys and our giant pieces of equipment in action every day. Sometimes when you're around it all the time, you forget just how much work goes into these jobs until you stop and look through the camera lens.

Happy Mother’s Day weekend to all the moms out there surviving purely on caffeine, sarcasm, and the tiny bit of patience we have left after hearing “mom” 4,700 times a day.

As a mom of three myself… I can confidently say running S&K Dumpster's is honestly less chaotic some days than my own house. At least the dumpsters don’t follow me into the bathroom asking for snacks.

So, here’s to the moms doing it all — raising kids, running businesses, keeping schedules together, feeding everyone, and somehow still functioning on 4 hours of sleep and pure determination.

I hope this weekend somebody else cooks' dinner, the laundry magically folds itself, and nobody asks you for snacks the second you finally sit down.

Big shoutout to the roofing crews that keep trusting us with their dumpster needs. We’ve recently delivered a few more cans out to some hardworking crews getting roofs knocked out and staying busy.
