AR&LE offers recreation, leisure and educational opportunities specifically designed to meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities in the cities of Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina and Richfield. TRAIL riders live independently and semi-independently within the four cities. Through donations and fundraising, TRAIL subsidizes the cost of transportation, so riders pay a nominal fee for each ride.

But it’s about so much more than a bus ride. For many, TRAIL is the only realistic transportation option to their much-loved AR&LE social and recreational programs. TRAIL removes the cost and burden of public transportation or reliance on friends and family by providing safe, affordable transportation.

Independence is important to all of us. It boosts self-confidence and self-esteem. When you donate to TRAIL, you are assisting in our mission to support an independent lifestyle for adults with developmental disabilities.

TRAIL provides over 1,300 individual rides to 200 AR&LE events annually!
