Frac Fuel Driver (West & South Texas)

*MUST reside within 6 hours of West/South Texas to be considered for this job*

JOB SUMMARY
Frac Fuel Drivers, Hazmat, Class “A/B”, and/or Tanker drivers play a vital role in ensuring our customers have the finest quality fuel available. As a Frac Fuel Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products, equipment and operating on our customer’s frac locations. Minimal driving required.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Proper pre and post trip truck inspections
• Safely operate loaded and empty bobtail trucks (Class B) on pad site locations by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
• Transfer fuel to various frac equipment to include; pumps, blenders, generators, data van, light plant, etc.
• Responsible for driving on pad locations and verifying loads
• Operate and perform minor maintenance on vehicles and various other types of equipment
• Properly load and unload; hauling, hooking and unhooking hoses
• Observing his/her work carefully in order to anticipate the problems early and adopting safety measures like using safety mechanisms while working
• Accurately complete driver logs, pre and post trip forms, invoices and other paperwork as required
• Courteously work with bosses, dispatchers, fellow employees and customers

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum age of hire is 21 years old
• Current & valid Class “A/B” CDL with Hazmat Endorsement
• Current DOT Medical Card, Minimum of 1 year validation
• 1 year full-time verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years
• Minimum 2 years Class “A/B” driving experience
• Ability to work at night - NO DAY SHIFT GUARANTEE
• Minimal driving violations (MVR & PSP Reporting)
• Pass company road test, Pre-Employment DOT Drug Screen, DOT Physical & FCE (Functional Capacity Exam)
• Must be able to pass a FuelCo provided DOT Physical and FCE upon employment, be issued & maintain a minimum of 1 or 2 year DOT Medical card while employed
• Meet regulations and limitations regarding total weight rated equipment and safety devices
o In order to limit the maximum arresting force on the employee to 1,800 pounds and bring the employee to a complete stop while limiting the maximum deceleration distance the employee travels to 3.5 feet, all employees being considered for field-level positions shall have a combined body and tool weight of less than 310 pounds (140kg.).

ABILITIES REQUIRED
• Must have the ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
• The ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat and climb, as necessary to perform vehicle inspections required under 49 CFR Sections 396.11-15 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Must be able to lift without assistance up to 75 pounds, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement
• Ability to work in time-sensitive environments with non-flexible deadlines

POSITION DETAILS
• Rotation – Estimated 21/7 (NO GUARANTEE FOR DAYS WORKED OR DAYS OFF) - NO DAY SHIFT GUARANTEE – Must be able to work nights
o Company Housing – While on working rotation and only for drivers who reside outside assigned home terminal area
• Paid Per Hour - Overtime pay accrued after 40 hours
o Shift starts and work commences upon the arrival and departure from the offsite work location
• Hourly Rate Dependent On: Experience, Rotation, Location
