"A godsend" is how Lesa Bruns describes the new One-Call Connect transportation program between Hamilton and Hancock counties.

Her son, Benjamin, does not drive so she's been taking him to and from work for five years. That wasn't a big problem until his employer relocated from Noblesville to Fortville, adding about 30 minutes each way to the trip.

Using One-Call Connect, now Benjamin gets picked up at home in Westfield and travels in a Hamilton County Express vehicle to a transfer point near the county line. Then he gets on a RIDE Hancock vehicle to finish the trip to Fortville.

HOW TO BOOK A ONE-CALL CONNECT TRIP:
Call CIRTA at 317-327-7433 Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

NOTE:
• Trips must be booked at least 24 hours in advance, but not more than two weeks ahead.
• Trips must take place Monday-Friday, 7a-4p.
• Vehicles are ADA accessible, and trips can be for any purpose.
• Trips must start in Hamilton or Hancock county and end in the other county.
