Amador Transit Amador Transit has been providing local public bus transportation since 1977. Amador Transit is committed to providing safe, reliable service to all.

We provide Monday-Friday fixed route service within Amador County from our Sutter Hill Transit Center to Jackson, Sutter Creek, Plymouth, Ione, and along the Highway 88 corridor through Pine Grove and Pioneer ending at Amador Station. We also travel to downtown Sacramento with connections to the Sacramento International Airport, and provide ADA Paratransit “Dial-a-Ride” service in Jackson-Sutter Creek area.

Happy Presidents Day! 🇺🇸

In observance of the holiday, Amador Transit will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026. Service will resume Tuesday, February 17.

🚐 Important Reminder:
Dial-A-Ride and the Amador Rides Volunteer Driver Program will not operate on Presidents Day.

📚 Fun fact: Presidents Day is always celebrated on a Monday as part of the Uniform Monday Holiday Act.

🚨Attention Amador County Residents🚨

With stormy weather here, free sand and sandbags are available in front of the Amador County Airport, located at 12380 Airport Road, to help protect your property from flooding! Look for the big pile of sand, but bring your own shovel! Spread the word to friends and neighbors who may need this.

Last Friday, our Adult Transition program students went on their annual Christmas Shopping trip! Students created a shopping list for their families, added the necessary amount of money, and selected their desired items. This week, they will wrap the gifts they purchased. 🎁
