CLASS A CDL TRUCK DRIVER

Jersey City based Mecca & Son Trucking Co is currently seeking a limited number of in house drivers. If you meet the requirements and are located within 50 miles of our Jersey City headquarters, we'd like to talk! With multiple locations, warehouse operations and port services offered throughout the region, come see why Mecca is one of the premier freight and logistics operations in the region.

Port, local and regional runs available. Home all nights and weekends (Extra weekend work available). Assigned tractors, paid hourly, company owned equipment, health insurance and 401K plans.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Manage and deliver freight in the most safe and efficient manner possible
· Complete electronic logs daily - Our digital solutions make HOS (Hours of Service) and DVIR (Pre and Post Trip Inspections) simple and easy.
· Utilize our cloud based dispatching platform to simplify dispatch to driver communications.
· Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules
· Represent company in a professional and courteous manner at all times

REQUIREMENTS:
· Class A CDL
· 2 years driving experience
· Clean Driving Record (MVR, CSA, and previous employment)
· Ability to pass DOT pre-employment screening and meet DOT medical requirements
· Current DOT Physical
· Port experience is a +
· TWIC card is a +
· HAZMAT is a +
