If you know the answer, that's perfect. If you don't, you have to realize that you should never be guessing about what's happening to your freight.

If changes happen or if there are updates to be provided, you should get them then and there, along with the next steps. That makes a good broker.

Automation is the big thing these days, but you can't just do it to do it.

You need to first understand if what you're automating is right.

Automating can save you time, but it shouldn't be at the expense of the client or the freight itself.

Map out what can and can't be automated to ensure a clear system.

Is there risk in trucking even if everything is done right? OF COURSE!

That's why there is insurance. Insurance keeps you in the game when something goes wrong.

The biggest problem is not having it when you need it most or thinking you have the right coverage when you don't.

Always double-check. Always be skeptical. For your sake and the sake of the client.
