The Vernon Hills Capitals have teamed up with St. Baldrick's and the Illinois Center for Broadcasting to raise money for childhood cancer research. On February 5th, 2012, Pete Wisnieff (goalie, #30) along with several of his teammates are taking donations to get their heads shaved in order to benefit children with cancer. Blue Sky Taxi - Versatility

Before we take off I always ask the passengers where we're going. After the startled looks fade they tell me. Then I compare that with what's on my dispatch list. Most of the time they agree! Most of the time? On one recent flight the dispatch had us going to Saginaw International. The final destination was actually Midland Michigan, about 20 miles southwest of Saginaw. That would require driving another ½ hour and renting a car. There's an airport at Midland so we decided to land at Midland and rent a car. A call to Air Route Traffic Control to change our flight plan and we were headed to Midland instead of Saginaw! When we arrived the airport manager said the final destination was only 3 miles away. The airport car was out but she'd be happy to drive the passengers over. No rental car fees, no extra flying, no extra driving and time to grab a bite to eat, and still make the meeting on time. The views departing and arriving Chicago are nothing less than spectacular. It doesn't get any better than that. Are you ready for affordable luxury and convenience? If you're traveling within 300 to 400 miles of Chicago Blue Sky Taxi makes a lot sense. Longer trips and more than 3 in the group would require a larger aircraft. We provide 3 passenger seats, we fly at your convenience, we fly on 2 hours notice! As fuel prices skyrocket our costs will always be significantly less expensive than non piston aircraft.
