This poor young lady was a victim of an attempted theft. They completely ripped out her ignition switch but was foiled by the disc lock she had put on. They ruined the lock however, so in order to get it down from the parking lot I removed the disc altogether. Without that disc lock she would have lost her bike! I've always been a fan of these locks and am even more so now.
Pro tip: If you get a disc lock, be sure it comes with a cord that you can hang on your handle bars. This reminds you that you have the lock on before you take off!

Indian Hills, Colorado. Seemed like an appropriate place for a photo stop. I took her out for a bit to stretch our legs and get a bit of wind therapy. This 4th of July there will be a lot of riders out and we'll be on standby if anyone needs help!

I had the privilege of meeting Tom today. I'd be hard pressed to meet a nicer guy. His bike took an unscheduled break today along I-70 in the mountains. Got it back to his home for now and I look forward to seeing him again when we get it to the shop soon.
Technically, this was our first bike rescue and it went flawlessly. :)
