Celebrating Captain Mickie’s Retirement ⚓

With grateful hearts, we’re celebrating Captain Mickie Mulford Smith as she prepares to retire from River Passage Water Taxi. Her last day at the helm will be October 24, 2026.

Mickie is a cherished part of our water taxi family, and saying goodbye will be bittersweet. We’re thankful for the care she brings to her work, the passengers she welcomes aboard, and the time she has shared with us on the Colorado River.

If you’re visiting Laughlin before her final day, we hope you’ll join us for a ride and help wish her a wonderful retirement!

Thank you, Captain Mickie, for being part of our journey. We’ll miss you aboard and wish you plenty of joy, relaxation, and new adventures in this next chapter. 💙

Today we’re celebrating the freedom to enjoy the beautiful Colorado River, the friendships we’ve made along the way, and the amazing guests who make every season memorable.
