Wanna know about the LIFE of a TRUCK DRIVER..
Take a closer look before you think we just DRIVE our LIFE Away:
*Yes, The wages are good.
*Yes, You can Provide your family a comfortable lifestyle, a nice home, cars and toys.
*Yes, You can GIVE not only to your Family but help those less fortunate and in need.
*Yes, The financial rewards are tempting.
*Yes, Trucking gets in your heart and soul.
*Yes, You see the country and get to meet so many of the Amazing AMERICANS in it!
BUT, ask yourself "Do YOU realize the LIFESTYLE of the AMERICAN Truck Driver":
*WE MISS Births, Reunions, Parties, BBQ's, Wedding's and Funeral's.
*WE miss all types of Anniversarys
*WE May not be home for Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter. Mother's day and Father's day.
*WE May not be there for our Children or Grandbabies birthdays.
*WE May not see our Children or Grandbabies first steps, first day of school, learn to swim, ride a bike for the first time or be there to read bedtime stories very often.
*WE May not be there for presentation nights, school plays, parent/teacher conferences or Graduations.
*WE May not be there to see our children or grandchildren win medals at school or cheer at their sporting events.
*WE May not always be there during times of Family Crisis's and WE feel totally helpless being miles away.
*WE May not be there to say "Goodbye" to a Family Member or our Close friend or loved ones
*WE will get limited time at home, when we get home.
*WE MISS Family and LOVED Ones! Horribly!!
*WE will face strained Relationships many pushed to breaking points.
*WE will WISH our LIVES away when WE are away during most of the times we miss.
*WE will lay awake at night, alone, sometimes wondering "Why do I do this" and "Is this really worth it"???!!
So, Before ANYBODY judges someone who has the GUTS and COURAGE to work LONG Hours, DAYS on END, 365/24/7 to try and make a better life for ourselves and those around us, Please DONT Ever say "You live there perfect life" or "YOU SURE ARE LUCKY"
The AMERICAN Truck Driver sacrifices over 2/3rds of Our LIVES being away from LOVED ones and a NORMAL LIFE so to make EVERYONE'S DREAMS come true ...
