Hiring from Leavenworth, IN

Driver will pickup and deliver freight in 150-mile radius of our terminal in Leavenworth, IN. Driver is home every night & off most weekends. This is an hourly position.

Menke Trucking is a small family owned and operated trucking company located in Leavenworth, IN. We have a growing fleet that is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team. Individual should be detailed, thorough and take pride in their work. This is not an entry level position and knowledge of FMCSA requirements, preventative services, disc and air brake applications, diagnostic procedures and trailer repair and maintenance are required. We are looking for a motivated, high integrity individual looking to join a growing private fleet. Compensation is based on experience but will include hourly wage, vacation pay, holiday pay, health, vision and dental insurance, 401k and more. Job Requirements:
Diesel mechanic experience or relevant training from a Technical School preferred.
DOT air brake certification and annual federal vehicle inspection certification preferred.
Strong Knowledge of DOT and Safety Regulations
Willingness to work outdoors in extreme conditions on occasion
Basic computer skills along with written and oral communication skills
Extremely organized and effective at time management
High school graduate with additional training such as technical school classes.
Welding Experience
Ability to lift 75 pounds
Ability to bend, climb into cabs of trucks, use tools and power tools
Ability to work extended hours as business needs dictate
Additional requirements as needed to perform basic job functions
