You're invited to an open house and ribbon cutting on June 9 for CAA's new Salem Health Center at 600 E. 2nd St. We're offering tours of our newest health and behavioral health center, and we'll have light refreshments for our guests. Stop by on June 9 from 10 a.m. to noon.

At CARTS - Community Action Rural Transit System , our drivers do more than provide transportation — they help keep our community safe, supported, and connected every day.

Our drivers complete ongoing required training through Area Agency on Aging District XI, ODOT, and CAACC in areas including:
✔️ CPR & First Aid
✔️ Defensive Driving
✔️ ADA & PASS Wheelchair Training
✔️ Emergency Preparedness
✔️ Fire Prevention & Emergency Response
✔️ Bloodborne Pathogens & Communicable Disease
✔️ HIPAA Privacy Laws
✔️ Hazardous Material Recognition & Handling
✔️ On-board Instruction & Observation
✔️ Continuous Driving Record Checks
