Trailer Mechanic / Fleet Maintenance Technician
Golden Van Lines is seeking an experienced and dependable Trailer Mechanic / Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team in Longmont, Colorado. This position focuses on trailer repairs, brake systems, lighting systems, preventative maintenance, and general fleet service work.
Responsibilities:
Perform trailer inspections and preventative maintenance
Diagnose and repair trailer brake systems
Repair and troubleshoot trailer lighting and electrical systems
Perform routine maintenance services
Inspect trailers for DOT compliance and safety concerns
Complete service documentation and maintenance records
Work closely with fleet and operations teams to keep equipment road ready
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Experience working on trailers and fleet equipment preferred
Knowledge of air brake systems, lighting, and general trailer repair
Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
Valid driver’s license required
CDL is a plus but not required
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
