When in Mexico City, be sure to visit Xochimilco! Floating along in these brightly colored boats as an experience that’s not to be missed! But be sure to go early to miss the crowds, and ask the boatman to take some of the smaller canals for some different and quite beautiful views.

My TravelDriver stopped to let me wander a bit along a beautiful beach as we drove from Portugal to Spain. And there I met a man who was gathering these small clams to make a soup! They were so beautiful… I wished I could have the shells, admittedly. And he invited me to join him, but I needed to get back on the road… Beautiful beach, beautiful shells, beautiful experience!
