Over the past several months, the volume of shipments has increased significantly. At TFI Trans Inc., our team has been working hard to keep every move running smoothly while ensuring payments are processed as quickly and accurately as possible.
To process payments, every VIN must be verified before payment can be released. To avoid payment delays, please ensure all of your drivers follow these requirements on every shipment:
Log into the Logistics App before arriving at the pickup location.
Take a clear VIN photo in both the Logistics App and Super Dispatch.
Document any pre-existing vehicle damage in the Logistics App before leaving the pickup location.
We have recently implemented a new verification system that reviews shipment documentation before payments are processed. If a shipment is missing the required VIN photo or proper documentation, the system will automatically flag the load and place the payment on hold until the required information is received.
Using the Logistics App also protects both your company and TFI Trans Inc. By documenting the vehicle's condition and any existing damage at pickup, drivers create a verified record before transport begins. This greatly reduces unnecessary claims, minimizes disputes, and helps speed up the claims review process if an issue arises.
From our experience, carriers who consistently use the Logistics App and properly document existing damage rarely experience payment delays or claim issues. Most payment holds and claim disputes occur when the required documentation is missing.
Please remind all of your drivers to use the Logistics App on every shipment and carefully document the vehicle's condition before leaving the origin. Taking just a few extra minutes helps ensure:
