There’s something special about the Mid-America Trucking Show.
This year, we felt it more than ever.

From hearing familiar voices of Road Dog Trucking broadcast live with SiriusXM, to seeing people stop in their tracks for Eddie and Jessica’s black and chrome Peterbilt…

Our booth became more than a place to visit. It became a place to connect.

Drivers, staff, partners… all coming together, sharing stories, building relationships, and reminding us what this industry is really about.

We’re grateful for every driver out there. Not just ours, but everyone who keeps the road moving.

This one meant a lot to us.

Mercer Transportation had some special visitors on campus during our Jamboree and they brought a perspective we won’t forget.

Students from Next Generation in Trucking spent the day with us, talking with drivers, talking with Charles Gracey from Trucking Sense and SiriusXM, exploring trucks up close, and seeing what this industry really looks like beyond the surface. From trucks “as big as a garage” to real conversations about life on the road, it was one of those days that sticks with you.

What stood out most?

The idea that they aren't just perceiving trucking as a job. Rather, they are looking for a future life and career.

We took some time to reflect on their visit and what it says about the future of this industry.

For a few days, something special happened in our booth.

The voices drivers hear every day on SiriusXM Radio weren’t just on the air, they were right here with us.

From our Jamboree on campus to the middle of Mid-America Trucking Show, we got to spend time with Charles Gracey, KC Phillips, and so many others who help tell the story of this industry.

But more than anything, it was about the conversations.

The kind that don’t feel scripted.

The kind you remember.

At Mercer, we often say that drivers are the backbone of everything we do.

Each year, the Mercer Jamboree gives us the chance to pause for a night and celebrate the people who keep this company moving — our owner operators, drivers, employees, and the families who support them.

It’s one of the few times each year when so much of the Mercer community is together in the same place.

This year’s celebration will take place:

📍 Building 8 Warehouse

The evening will include games, prizes, family activities, and a fire dancing performance.

The Jamboree has grown a lot over the years, but the heart of it has always stayed the same: taking time to thank the people who make Mercer possible.
