Patrol units are on the scene of a traffic crash at US 10 Hwy and Jebavy Drive. Expect traffic delays in the area; avoid if possible.

CITY OF LUDINGTON OPERATION OF COASTER TOYS – RIDER SAFETY & RULES REMINDER

As summer rolls on, we want to make sure everyone is staying safe, respectful, and legal while enjoying sidewalks, parks, and downtown spaces!

🚫 Where You CAN’T Ride:
Ludington Ave sidewalks (Harrison St to William St)
James St sidewalks (Court St to Dowland St)
Sidewalks/recreational trails in parks
Anywhere restricted by traffic control orders

⚠️ Additional Rules:
• No tricks or unsafe riding allowed anywhere in the city
• Exceptions are made for individuals with disabilities using mobility devices
• The Chief of Police may issue further restrictions
• Violations may result in civil infractions

🛴 Note for Riders:
We’ve seen some devices going a bit too fast in pedestrian areas. Please slow down, ride responsibly, and keep safety a priority for yourself and everyone around you!

🛡️ Rider Safety Tip:
All riders are strongly encouraged to wear safety gear—helmets, knee and elbow pads, and reflective clothing, especially when riding near traffic or in low-light conditions.

On July 31st, one of our cabs was taking a customer to the Grand Rapids airport when one of our (almost brand new) tires blew out. Mike at Tread Monkey came to our rescue. He was there quickly and had a good tire on in about 10 minutes. We were still able to get our customer to the airport with time to spare. Thank you Tread Monkey!!
