How about this face?

Meet Bibb County Sheriff's Office Bondable Pup name Monday!

Monday is looking for a best friend who loves sunshine, snuggles, and showing off her manners and is ready to steal your heart!

This beautiful 3 year-old girl enjoys spending her days stretched out in the sun, working on her tan while keeping her favorite rope toy close by. When she’s not outside, she’s perfectly happy being a couch potato or curling up in your lap for cuddle time.
Monday is:
🐾 House Trained
🐾 Leash Trained
🐾 Knows Sit & Lay Down
🐾 Gives High Fives
🐾 Loves Rope Toys
🐾 Dog Friendly with Proper Introductions
🐾 Professional Sunbather

She'll do best in a home without cats and isn’t a fan of thunderstorms, so she’ll appreciate a family that helps her feel safe when the weather gets loud.

💥 BONUS! Adoption fees are WAIVED
the entire month of June! 💥If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry family member, now is the perfect to bring home your new best friend.

Monday is ready to trade shelter life for a couch, a lap, and a forever family. Could that be yours?

If you're interested in adding Monday to your family, please email Cpl. Brandi Smith at [email protected].

From Macon-Bibb County EMA
Thank you for the updates!
2:39 pm Fri

Macon-Bibb County is under a Tornado Watch. Please take this time to locate your shelter-in-place room in your home or office, such as a bathroom or closet.

Should there be a Tornado Warning, the emergency sirens will sound and a notification via MBC Alert will be sent, and you should immediately take shelter in a per-determined Shelter in Place location. The best room in a home is one with as few windows and doors as possible and in the central portion of your house. A room, preferably with a water supply, is desirable; something like a master bathroom or large closet works well.

For an office or other workplace, select the interior room(s) above the ground floor, with the fewest windows or vents. The room(s) should have adequate space for everyone to be able to sit. Avoid overcrowding by selecting several rooms if necessary. Large storage closets, utility rooms, pantries, copy and conference rooms without exterior windows will work well. Provide client, customer, and visitor safety by asking them to stay – not leave.

When authorities provide directions to shelter-in-place, they want everyone to take those steps immediately. Do not drive or walk outdoors.

June 16

Finally! The long-awaited presentation of the EXTRA MILE AWARD to PUBLIC WORKS from the Macon-Bibb Earth Day Committee.

Thank you Rico Hughes, Calvin Rolle, and your crew for your exceptional work on the Spirit of Macon Park.

BACKGROUND
Public Works has been repairing sidewalks at the intersection of Fifth & Poplar for 4 years — long before the Spirit of Macon Park was even planned. Sidewalk repair was needed when MBCTA was preparing to unveil the 2 Spirit of Macon Murals in late 2022-2023.

For the Spirit of Macon Park, Public Works created a new sidewalk at the opposite corner of the park near the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce. They added concrete to create a parking lot for the park, and a long stretch of asphalt alongside the bike lane on Fifth Street.

And there will be another surprise addition to the Spirit of Macon Park as soon as Mother Nature cooperates and stops the rain (which we need).

Spirit of Macon Park - after transforming the corner of Fifth & Poplar — today, building wellness and community working with our exceptional partners - AARP, Macon-Bibb County Public Works and Parks & Beautification.

June 16, 2026

The Terminal Station is one of Macon's grandest venues for a wedding or any other special event or occasion, large or small. We specialize in making wedding dreams come true and bringing each bride's vision to life.

Watch and listen to what one bride had to say on the eve of her wedding reception in the Historic Terminal Station — which also is a popular spot for baby showers, graduation & retirement parties, and fundraisers.

Macon's Historic Terminal Station is nearly booked for Saturday evenings in 2026 and we are half booked on Saturdays in 2027.

Sunday through Thursday dates are more readily available in 2026 & 2027.

Please call (478) 803-2520 for more information, a tour, and to check dates. We're proud to show off "the crown jewel of Downtown Macon," & look forward to discussing your event with you!

On June 2 & 3, MBCTA hosted Paratransit professionals from around the state of Georgia for training provided by GTA (Georgia Transit Association). Two MBCTA staffers - dispatch supervisors Chinita Gray and Kendrick Murphy participated in the training and are able to share their knowledge and experience with fellow bus operators.

The Terminal Station is a perfect training site which includes our spacious 4th floor conference room and our large parking lot in the back, which is ideal for practical training.

Funniest of all - when a woman entering the back of the Terminal Station thought that the bus operators assembled outside in the parking lot beside the vans were waiting to order from what she thought was food trucks! No ma'am - public transit training! 🙂🚌🚌🚌

Friday, June 12

From BONDABLE PUPS
a division of the Bibb County Sheriff's Office

PHOTO 1: Nina was found living in deplorable conditions. She was severely emaciated, her body showing the devastating effects of neglect & starvation.

Nina had spent her life confined to a metal cage with no access to the outside world. No grass beneath her feet. No toys. No freedom to run. No couch to nap on. Just survival.

Thanks to the incredible care of our shelter veterinary team,
Nina was immediately started on medications & a carefully monitored refeeding schedule.
Their dedication gave her the chance she desperately needed.

Once medically stable, Nina came to BONDABLE PUPS.
Here, over the course of two months she worked on building muscle, learning manners, gaining confidence, and preparing for life in a forever home.

Look at her now. ❤️

PHOTO 2: Nina is ready for adoption this Monday, June 15!

PERSONALITY: She loves toys, enjoys running and rolling in the grass, walks well on a leash, and knows “sit.” Her favorite thing is carrying a tennis ball wherever she goes. Whether she’s strolling, exploring the yard, or running laps, you’ll usually find a tennis ball proudly tucked in her mouth.

When she’s not on the move, she’s perfectly content lounging on the couch watching Animal Planet and being a beloved family dog.

From a dog who had never experienced the simple joys of being a dog to one who now runs, plays, watches TV, and carries her tennis ball everywhere she goes, Nina’s transformation has been amazing & is a testament to love and care.

Her past does not define her. Her future is waiting. 🐾❤️

IMPORTANT INFO
- Nina is 9 1/2 years-old
- Spayed, has had all shots, including rabies
- Microchipped & heartworm negative
- She is good with children, but curious with cats.
We don't recommend a home with cats.

Nina would love a loving home & it's June which means
adoption fees are waived.
Nina's fee is sponsored by Blues Painting.

Please share this post in hopes that we can find a loving home for Nina.
