RoundTrip's September Smart Trips Challenge is on! Participants challenge themselves to use transportation modes other than driving solo, including walking/rolling, biking, busing, carpooling, etc. and can log each trip for a chance to win prizes.
RoundTrip also offers free ridematching! When signing up, University of Wisconsin-Madison faculty, staff, and students can join the private UW-Madison network to find others to travel with, whether it's for daily commutes or one-time trips. It's up to you.
🚲🚌🚶♀️ The RoundTrip Smart Trips Challenge is back this September in Dane County!
This free, month-long challenge encourages residents to rethink daily travel—swapping solo drives for walking/rolling, biking, riding the bus, or carpooling. It’s also a chance to celebrate those already making these habits part of their everyday routines.
How to participate:
1️⃣ Create your free account at RoundTripGreaterMadison.org
2️⃣ Replace a solo drive with a bike, bus, carpool, or walk/roll trip
3️⃣ Log your trips September 1–30
🎁 Every trip logged boosts your chances of winning weekly and grand prize drawings, featuring prizes donated by Metro Transit, Madison Bikes, and local businesses like Metcalfe's Market, Trek Bicycle Madison East, Machinery Row Bicycles, Monk's Bar & Grill, and Buck & Honey's.
