This past Friday evening, some of our team members got together for good food, yard games, and even better company. There was chicken on the grill, plenty of laughs, and of course…the highly anticipated foot race showdown between Joseph and Mark. The hype was real. 👀

After the main event, Dee decided to take on the champ himself (Joseph) before Dee and Jon squared off in their own race to keep the competition rolling!

Moments like these remind us it’s not just about working together, it’s about building memories and connections along the way.

🚨 International Roadcheck: May 12–14 🚨

From May 12–14, enforcement personnel across North America will be conducting increased commercial vehicle inspections as part of the CVSA’s annual International Roadcheck.

This year’s primary focus areas are:

📋 ELD Tampering, Falsification & Manipulation
Inspectors will be paying close attention to Records of Duty Status and any signs of inaccurate or manipulated logs.

✔️ Log what you do
✔️ Do what you log
✔️ Show on-duty time during inspections and fueling
✔️ Use Personal Conveyance properly
✔️ Make sure your logs are accurate and up to date

🚛 Cargo Securement
Inspectors will also be closely evaluating how freight is secured.

✔️ Secure rear loads properly
✔️ Strap loads — including lighter freight like scrap paper
✔️ Inspect trailer door locking mechanisms
✔️ Do not rely on trailer doors alone to prevent cargo shifts

During Level I inspections, officers may also review driver qualifications, medical certificates, seat belt usage, tires, brakes, lighting, suspension components, and other critical safety items.
