Writing saved my life before it ever made me a living. I didn't start because I wanted to be a poet. I started because I had things in me I couldn't say out loud to a single person, and a blank page doesn't flinch, doesn't interrupt, and doesn't tell anyone. That's what this journal is. 100 prompts, in the order I'd actually walk someone through it — starting with what you're carrying, ending somewhere closer to home. Ten poems from The First Ten are in there too, with the real story behind each one. Some of those stories I've never told publicly. The first 250 signed copies come with free access to the workshop and your first month in the community.
