Couple of things I need to post so bare with me;
First off: I’ve been made aware of the issues regarding an ex driver of ours on nights. She’s been relieved of her driving job as of Saturday October 13th and WILL NOT be driving for ACME any longer. We deeply apologize for the behavior, dog, and any other situation that arouse in the 3 days she drove while Alan was in Tulsa having spine surgery and the complications that arose from it.
Please, Alan and I beg for ANYONE to contact us IMMEDIATELY if and when a situation with a driver such as that one comes up either by messenger on Acme’s page, Alan N Shannon Hoover messenger, dispatch 429.3077 or if we are not available ask to speak to my Manager DeAnna. I will not hesitate to pull my driver and fire them in the spot if it comes to the safety of my customers. Point blank.
Alan and I can’t take care of a situation if we do not know about it. So please. Contact one of us IMMEDIATELY.
Secondly: Another situation arose recently regarding slurs regarding people’s sexual orientation. We at Acme DO NOT tolerate nasty comments, name calling, or JOKES regarding a persons RACE, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RELIGIOUS BELIEFS, or background. If you have an issue with it, keep it to yourself. I will happily pull my cars over and let you step out of my car. It’s unnecessary and uncalled for and again, will NOT BE TOLERATED. Period.
Alan and I strive to be fair, honest, and as cheap for the public as much as possible. We really want to TRY to continue $4 work rides but at this time, it’s not possible. As of 10-21-2019 we will be back to regular prices FULL TIME. $6 in town and Krebs, $5 work rides, $10 round trips (10 min wait time up to 2 ppl)
And Lastly: we apologize for all the times we have had to close in the evenings and last Saturday. We simply did NOT have a driver and it’s not safe nor possible for me to continue to drive 20+ hours a day, 7 days a week. I’m sorry for any inconvenience it’s caused anyone, I truly am. But I’m exhausted at this time with Alan’s operation and caring for him, AND the company back to back. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a couple of drivers that ARE TRUSTWORTHY and honest. In McAlester, tbh, finding a person with a good driving record/clean background/drug free/ insurance is almost IMPOSSIBLE.
Please BARE with ACME as we try to make the transition from being closed at night to open again 24/7. I know it puts people in a bind that relies on us to get to and from work and again, we are so very sorry.
