Today is a bittersweet day at Carbaugh Buses as we celebrate the retirement of someone who is so much more than an employee — she’s family. 💛
Mr. Rhodes, the principal of Montgomery Elementary school posted a beautiful tribute to Mrs. Weller to follow that we would add -
After decades of dedication, today is Aunt Joan Weller’s very last day, and what a legacy she leaves behind. In addition to her own, routes, Joan has faithfully driven Bus 38 and Bus 23, safely transporting generations of students with a steady hand, a kind heart, and a smile that made every ride feel a little more like home.
What makes this day extra special is that our relationship with Joan goes far beyond buses and routes. Our families are deeply intertwined — bonded by years of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. From long summer days at the cabin to countless moments spent together in the cove, those memories are just as meaningful as the miles she’s driven.
Joan represents everything we value: loyalty, compassion, and a true commitment to the people she serves. She didn’t just drive a bus — she cared for children, supported families, and showed up every single day with her whole heart.
Aunt Joan, we love you tremendously, and we are so proud of you. Thank you for everything you’ve given to our family, our business, and our community. You will be missed more than words can say — but your impact will always ride along with us. 💐🚌
Enjoy every moment of this well-earned retirement. You’ve more than earned it. We plan to celebrate with you in person in a few weeks!
❤️
Love,
Dale, Tammy, Tiffany, Danielle, Devin, & Trevor
