Hungarian-born American Ehrich Weiss, better known as escapologist Harry Houdini ✨ completed the first extended circling flight in a Voisin biplane at Diggers Rest, Victoria on March 18th of 1910.

Houdini had purchased the Voisin Biplane for $25,000 Francs from Sanchez Bess and Eduardo Bello and hired a full-time mechanic, Antonio Brassac. The Voisin was equipped with a standard 60 hp engine and was transported and stored in a make-shift hangar on private land adjoining Plumpton Dam.

This flight was recognized by the Aerial League of Australia as the first official flight in Australia 🙌

Houdini was an aviation enthusiast and had followed the early testing of Orville and Wilbur Wright’s successful Wright Flyer flight at Kill Devil Hills near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on December 17, 1903 ✈️😱🌤️

Ever wondered why airplane food can sometimes taste a bit meh?  🤔
When an airplane is flying at a high altitude, the air becomes very dry, and the air pressure drops. That combo messes with your sense of smell, playing tricks on your taste buds! That's why the flavors might seem different.

Also, pilots and copilots follow a smart strategy 👨‍✈️ They generally eat completely separate meals that are prepared differently. Why? Although there is no official rule, this is to avoid the risk of food poisoning or other sicknesses that may affect their ability to fly the plane properly.

Which leads to a classic airplane food dilemma: portion sizes! Smaller portions are often served because pressure falls while flying, and gas starts to expand... As a result, you may feel pressure in your stomach or digestive system 💨

Lastly, ever wondered what happens to those unserved meals? 🍽️

The cabin can be configured to have 3 or 4 different living areas, usually accommodating from 13 to 19 passengers comfortably, and it is one of the quietest cabins in business aviation, with a noise level of just 47 decibels (quieter than the average household refrigerator)🤫

France is one of the countries with the most small airports, with more than 400 airports and aerodromes, allowing private jet travellers to get as close as possible to their final destination. They take pride in Paris Le Bourget being one of the most important ones in Europe ⏱️⚡

But it is important to be aware that not all smaller airports are able to accommodate all private jets. There are many selective criteria to help you choose the right airport for your trip ⛈️✈️

So, technically all airports are capable of accommodating private jets, but their use depends on flying permits, operating schedules and many other variables including weather conditions, to be sorted out when planning your flight.
