Thank You for an Incredible Morning!

In less than 15 minutes, all 52 grocery boxes and a surprise 20 gift cards were handed out to veterans and widows of veterans. It was an emotional and energetic morning, and we are so grateful to everyone who made Groceries for Veterans a success!

A huge thank you to the veterans groups who donated, the volunteers who helped, and most importantly, to our veterans for their service. 🇺🇸

We are so proud to serve the Milbank community!

Wonderful gestures keep happening in communities where CTWSI provides transportation.

At the most wonderfully cold time of the year, Milbank donors are stepping up to offer bus passes to those who need transportation. Milbank is a small community that notices our neighbors and keeps an eye out for residents that walk most places.
Today, Mel Bump, office coordinator for Milbank Community Transit, had an anonymous donor purchase bus passes for a few of those pedestrians.

Realizing that the cold and snow piles can hinder navigating our community on foot, the donor decided to purchase bus passes for the holidays to aid in walker’s daily errands and visits. These passes will be distributed to a few people who could use an alternative option on the coldest of days when walking could be hazardous.

Milbank Community Transit averages around 1,800 rides each month serving everyone who needs a ride.

"All our employees here are proud to serve Milbank, and it is great to know that people think of us when they give back to the community," said Bump.

Hey, Milbank! School has started and if you need to set up your children for transportation, now is the time! Stop into our temporary office on the main floor of the Grant County Courthouse to get signed up.

Reminder to all parents planning to use Community Transit for school transportation this year - your children must be registered before they can be transported. Registration must be completed every year even if there is no change in status. Thanks for using public transit.
