Nine years ago, Compassionate Home Care & Community Services started with a simple belief — that everyone deserves to age with dignity, comfort, and compassion, right at home.
When I made this decision to open Compassionate Home Care & Community Services, I knew I was stepping into something special. This was never just a business to me, it is a calling. For nine years, our caregivers have shown up — in the early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays — to care for someone’s mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, husband, wife, friend. That trust is sacred, and I don’t take it lightly.
To my entire team, my office coordinators, our caregivers — past and present — you are the heart of this company. The day shifts, the third shifts, the extra mile you go when no one is watching, that’s what 9 years is built on. Thank you for your compassion, your patience, and your strength.
To the families we serve across Tracy City, Sewanee, Monteagle, South Pittsburg, Jasper, and our surrounding communities, the 10 counties we service— thank you for letting us into your homes and your lives. Thank you for trusting us during some of the hardest and most tender moments.
To my family, our community partners, home health agencies, SETAAAD, VA, TN Care Choices case manager, nurses, hospice teams, physicians offices, hospital case managers and friends — thank you for believing in what we’re building together.
Nine years has taught me a lot. It’s taught me that care can’t be rushed. That listening matters as much as doing and that a small, dedicated team with big hearts can change lives every single day.
As we look to year ten and beyond, my promise is simple: we will keep raising the bar. More training, more support for our caregivers, and more compassionate, personalized care for every client we serve.
I am grateful for how far we’ve come — and recommit to why I started.
