Did you know? The first truck was built from a horse-drawn wagon.
In 1896, Gottlieb Daimler created what is widely recognized as the world’s first truck. It was not designed like the trucks we know today. It was based on a converted horse-drawn goods wagon, with a small engine added to move cargo without horses.
