Boise Wild Horse Off-Range Corral (Kuna / South Boise): Managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), this facility handles the adoption of wild mustangs and burros gathered from public rangelands. Note that they host a major public adoption event on October 17–18, 2026, featuring dozens of wild horses from the Saylor Creek herd.

When I delivered Manny from Idaho’s Teton area to Northern Washington, he was calm and quiet the whole way—even through wild weather and some seriously bad Seattle traffic. His owners were more than generous, and they’ll always hold a special place in my heart. ❤️

After that, I picked up Red at a horse farm in Yakima, Washington, and delivered him to Lucile, Idaho. Idaho is beautiful! Here are a few pictures of Red. 🐴

🐴 Winter Hauling Notice
Local Only

I’m getting booked up for the month of October. I have times still available after the 12 of October until October 31st.a As winter approaches, all horse-transport bookings with Stacy’s Horse Hauling will be available for local hauling only unless in-climate weather conditions are hazardous.

I will continue accepting trips when the route is clear and safe locally in the Treasure Valley. However, I will not tow when roads are icy, mountain passes are hazardous, chains are required, or high winds could endanger the horses, truck, or trailer. Winter trips may need to be delayed or rescheduled into Spring.

I’m hoping to resume in March/April of 2027.

I believe that safety and comfort for your horse will always come first. Thank you for understanding. See you in Spring for long distance travel.

***Update***Last night Lily started to struggle but pulled through the night. Owners said it was a stressful, long night. She’s in the hospital for a couple more days but signs are good!! 🙏

Yesterday, I was called to transport a beautiful Gypsy/Shire mare named Lily, to Idaho Equine Hospital after she became very sick with colic and had been lying down in her pasture.

Her owners had been doing everything they could to keep her standing until I arrived. Together, we carefully loaded her and positioned her securely between two partitions for the trip to the hospital.

When we arrived, the veterinary team was waiting and took her in immediately. I have so much respect for the veterinarians at Idaho Equine Hospital and for this mare’s owners, who recognized that something was wrong and acted quickly.

Some hauls are more than simply getting a horse from one place to another. Sometimes it’s about being there when a horse and their family really need you.

I’m grateful they trusted Stacy’s Horse Hauling to get this beautiful girl safely to the care she needed. ❤️🐴

Praying for a good outcome for this sweet mare. 🙏

I live in the Valley and am available. I can help with emergency transportation to Idaho Equine Hospital.
